    so. a friend of mine brings me his laptop with a bad hdd, but befor every thing was in spanish. OS and all.

    dell sends him a new hdd with every thing loaded on it aldy but he does not want it in spanish any more. I try and go through the controll panel to change things but its no good. so I am reloading with a DELL vist home Prem. disk. but it gets to the last part befor it restarts and just sits there. not frozen just sits there. i let it sit like that a hole day. i have formated the HDD in 3 differnt computers. considering a low level format but i really dont want to spend that much time on it.

    whats the deal. and would like some INFO soon.

    I figured it out. you have to go into raid settings and make sure it is set to Find ATA if it is a single drive with no Raid.

    Dell support sucked. i spent most of this morning trying to figure it out.

    i got boredand started messing with the LEDs and seen the Raid options and it got the wheels turning.
