anyone have dual HDDs in their XPS 16?

Looking at the new XPS 1645 since I need a laptop before the new year and since it's pretty much identical to the current XPS 1640 in terms of the body AFAIK, I was wondering if anyone has replaced the DVD drive with a HDD caddy and have pictures of how it fits? Specifically, I was looking at products from nando4's thread:

I believe people said it was possible but I lost the post somewhere in that massive XPS 1645 owner's lounge. The questions I had were:

1) The DVD on XPS 16 should be a 12.7mm SATA and I was wondering what specific HDD caddy was used? From the thread above, this might work:

How does this fit (pictures)? Did you have any problems w/ installation or running a HDD in the ODD bay?

2) I wanted an external eSATA enclosure for the DVD drive and was directed to the Dell external E-media bay:

Anyone know if the DVD drive in the XPS 16 are the same as the Latitude E/Precision M (hopefully a user with the XPS or Latitude can chime in with the model of their DVD drive)? And how they fit (pictures)?

 

If you are looking for the SXPS 1645 I'd suggest you wait confirmation that SXPS 1645 bottoms are same as 1640. Because as of now, I haven't heard of anyone getting SXPS 1645 and it could be different bottom, I read somewhere that it was different...

 

The DVD drives haven't changed, so current XPS 16 owners can still comment. While it's possible that parts of the case have changed, that would be more cosmetic (for depth of the drive purposes), which I'm not as concerned about.
