are the XPS 15 and 17 Nvidia gpus ok for Solidworks?

I've been looking at the new XPS 15 and 17 laptops, but I'm unsure about the gpus. In my 1645 I was able to edit the ATI Radeon 4670 driver and replace the name with the name of one of ATI's workstation cards. I did this because I use Solidworks, and Solidworks checks what graphics card is installed to determine whether or not to enable certain features.

The hack worked, Solidworks thought I had one of the FirePro cards installed, so the RealView featured was enabled and it worked just fine.

Does anybody know if something like this is possible with the Nvidia gt525m, gt540m, gt550m, or gt555m?

Ive had my XPS 15 (l502x) for a few days now and couldn't wait to try out 3d studio max on it.

whilst i was very impressed with the cpu benchmark i felt the graphics card really struggles. I have quite a lot of errors using Direct3D viewport sadly making it unusable
changing to OpenGL helps a great deal, but it doesnt feel as slick.

Ive only been using the graphics drivers using the dell provided ones. i will try the nvidia drivers tonight to see if its any better.
