Has anyone experienced the battery not keeping its power? I got a new battery but after its initial charge is finished the power does not send any jiice to it. So I have to keep the laptop plugged in all the time.

Your power supply might be bad. Look in your BIOS under Device Info, if AC adapter type is "unknown", then your powersupply needs replacing.
