First of all, I know there are about a zillion threads on this so before you all tell me to use the search function, keep in mind the following; I don't really need top performance, I'm more concerned with heat output and I know that the driver can have a pretty big influence on this issue...

So which driver will do the best job with keeping temp's under control while offering decent performance?

For performance, I've read good things about the 177.41 which you can download from laptopvideo2go but I don't know if it's the best.

I've found 174.31 the best so far for performance.

Once NVIDIA release the new driver that runs the GPU fan sooner, I'd advise getting that one. AFAIK, it's not released yet.

I'm using Dell's just released 175.97 WHQL driver. No problems so far.

Mine came with 174.31 and I have had pretty good performance with them...scoring a tad under 4200 in 3DMark06's free/basic benchmark. That's without any overclocking the GPU. I don't plan on overclocking my laptop, but my desktops are all heavily overclocked.

Any idea which driver would be good for playing Oblivion? I'm using the M1330 8600M GT drivers and Oblivion is a bit laggy ...
