Hi, my dell 1647 has 4GB, running Windows 7 64-bit.

Before I upgrade to Windows 8.1 or 10, I'd like to upgrade the memory to 8GB (so 2*4GB from 2*2GB).

I searched and found these options:
    4GB DDR3 1333 SODIMM
    http://www.memoryupgradecompany.com....asp?part=85569-11855&MnfId=&MdlId=8111022803

    and
    4GB kit (2GBx2) DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V 256Meg x 64
    http://uk.crucial.com/ProductDispla...productId=389002&externalPartNumber=CT6317816

so firstly, would I notice much difference in performance?

And secondly, which of those options is better?

    thanks for your help
    Philip
