    i am looking to upgrade my cpu to a x9000 just looking for some tips on where to buy from?

    fleaBay has basically dried up when it comes to the x7900 or x9000. There are a few x9000 auctions however they are from overseas and are ES chips which I would stay away from (just my personal choice).

    US Based retailers do have the x9000 however they are in the 700.00+ range which is overpriced in my opinion.

    Just keep an eye on fleaBay and keep your fingers crossed. Might get lucky with a local US based auction for an OEM processor.
