Yes, its actually really choice you have to make.
WUXGA
+ More Pixels
-Dimmer (though you wont truly know unless you actually see an LED screen)
WXGA LED
- Less pixels
+Brighter
+More vibrant and contrast as well as better color reproduction -
my question is can i watch blu ray on the wxga+ led screen?
-
What are your reasons for not getting a PS3 instead of spending the same amount on a blu-ray drive for your notebook?
-
i already have a xbox 360 for my console needs and i didn't feel like buying a standalone or a ps3. so i decided to buy a bluray drive on the machine cuz i had some cash to burn and the best config with 599 off makes the BR drive free.
-
i also plan on using the 25 % off coupon
-
I am pretty sure the 25% off won't stack with the 599 off offer.
-
true, but the new offer giving everything real cheap( free 9cell, full hd screen...) plus the 25 off, beats the 599 offer
-
Of course you can, but at that resolution and screen size theres really no reason to have Blu Ray on a laptop if you just want to watch movies with it
-
You will still have very noticable increases in detail level just because blu ray is blu ray. Video quality will be much better than DVD obviously. I personally would stick with LED WXGA+ just because usability lies more with WXGA+ than WUXGA. If there were a WSXGA+, this wouldnt be a problem...
-
So the system is the same price with a blu-ray as it is with a DVDRW?
-
basically, cuz the best offer with 599 off makes the blu ray price of 500 nul
blu ray on m1530
