    i got an xps 1340 with vista 64bit and i have just recently updated it(windows update)

    now every time i start up it gives me the blue screen saying hardware/software isnt installed properly

    ive started the laptop up on safe mode and system restored and all is well during the next start up until it installs the new update where i dont no how to stop it ^^

    this is probably unique problem to me because im an idiot so any advice ? :D

    Cancel that update. Don't let it install automatically.
