    Ok, maybe this is a stupid question, but I was wondering what was the differences between these 3 choices dell offers for the sxps 1645

    slot load blue-ray disc (dvd/cd read/write + bd read)
    slot load blue-ray disc (bd) combo (reads bd and writes to dvd/cd) (same as first choice ???)
    slot load blue-ray disc (bd) burner (writes to dvd/cd/bd)

    Does the blue-ray burner can also read dvd/cd and blue-ray

    I am pretty certain that the "better" (more expensive) option is all inclusive of the previous options, therefore, the blu-ray burner can do everything.

    I only see two bd options for the 1645?

    Slot Load Blu -ray Disc (DVD/CD read/write + BD read)
    4X Slot Load Blu-ray Disc (BD) Burner (Writes to DVD/CD/BD)

    The difference being that the first option writes everything but bd and that the second option writes everything including bd.

    I cannot think a reason for myself to get a bluray rw. Im happy with my DVD RW and BD Rom.
