Hello, I have had the xps15 L502x for about 2 weeks now - bought from the US site so it has the US keyboard. I'm in the UK but haven't found the british pound sign yet. From googling, I hear it's alt 0163 or 0156 but neither work and I haven't got the numeric keypad if that is what you're supposed to type it on. Adv thx for any advice.

Turn on your numpad. There must be a key to turn on numpad. If there isn't numpad, you can change the keyboard input to UK keyboard. Another solution is to use this program, http://www.autohotkey.com/

thanks. still does not work. I haven't got a numpad - I did change to the UK keyboard but it had a domino effect on the other keys also so I preferred swapping it back to US and finding a hotkey for just the sterling sign.
