Any of the cheap neoprene 17" sleeves work great. No need to spend alot $$ They are all about the same. I just paid $11 shipped on ebay and it's nice.

I have the REI sleeve for my other laptop (except I have a small), but this Large will fit the SXPS 16 for $40. I really like it because I can open it from the top or the side and it has a mesh pocket on the side that can fit my smartbay and a couple CD's (it stretches yet is tough). I liked it so much that I planned to get this for my SXPS before I returned it.

If you want to spend some more money, you can find the one from Booq that is meant for a 17" MacBook Pro.

I've been looking for a nice sleeve as well, there's a few different options that with varying price points.

    1) There's generic neoprene ones, which will be a bit baggier and loose due to the size difference of the studio xps 16, and then you have booq's offering which is the taipan (XL) for the mbpro 17" (~$40). It should stretch to accomodate the larger height (1" vs 1.34") and provide a nice tight fit, but I don't know for sure.

    2) booq makes a vyper (XL2) sleeve ($55) with a harder outer shell of ballistic nylon for the mbpro 17", but I have doubts as to whether it will stretch like the neoprene one, so buyer beware. They make a bigger cases/sleeve called the exo XL ($150!) that is similar to their vyper sleeve, that fits a bit more, but will definitely fit the studio xps 16 and more stuff, but it's thicker at ~4"...

    3) zeroshock iii sleeve, made by shinza ($30) is pretty popular too, but it's not an exact fit, but should provide a bit more protection than your standard neoprene.

    4) the only one that's custom made to any dimension is from www.fabrixcases.com

    5) other designers like tom bihn are popular too, and the rest are pretty standard, which you can find pretty much in any online store.

Let me know which one you go with - I'm still figuring out which one. Too much research, and not enough spending!

    Hope this helps - cheers...
