    hi, now i have a hp pavilion dv6645us with
    amd turion x2 64 1.9
    2gb ram
    160gb
    geforce 7150


    and i would like to change for a dell xps m1530, i would like to know, is it a good change? is it a good idea?

    is it real the xps does a lot of fan noise? how about the autonomy of the battery?
    please if someone can help me, i apresiate to much

    well the fan noise insnt noticible unless ur in a completely silent environment and even then if ur playing a game or something. and imo its a good change as u can get an more powerful processor and a better gpu for a pretty cheap price :)

    how about the battery, how long can you use the battery? is it heavy the notebook?

    Its not that heavy, I throw it into my backpack and carry it everywhere (as in I have it with me, walking around town etc. from about 9 in the morning till 10 at night, so it gets brought every where)

    As regards battery life, I've the nine cell, with power saver mode set and the brightness turned down, I get about 4.5 to 5 hours of usage. Which is great because even in powersaver mode it is powerful enough to play lots of old games I have.

    Though it can be noisy. The dvd drive is notoriously loud, and you notice it a bit if you use it in a very quiet place e.g Library.
