    create partition after installation?

    is it possible to create partitions without having to reinstall windows? i've got a 512gb drive that i want to split to 3 drives. i read about partition magic but am not familiar with these tools

    In windows you can simply open the "Disk Management" tool (win+x -> Disk Management) and then shrink your existing windows partition by right clicking on it.

    This will create enough space for a new partition (which you can also create and format from within the Disk Management tool - or leave blank if your about to install Linux or such like...)

    thanks!!! didn't know it was that simple. haven't had a need to do this in awhile. vid tutorial on it here too
