So after having my motherboard replaced before Christmas due to GPU issue, my notebook decides to shut itself off, and I am unable to turn it on. This is < 2 months since the motherboard was replaced.

    It is literally a door-stop!

After talking to the technician on the phone, it looks like they will try to repair it after I send it in. If they can't, he said I probably will get a new notebook (but don't count on it!).

It won't power on with battery only, or on just AC adapter with battery out.

Just after typing this message and playing with it a bit more, it now decides to turn on!

What the heck is going on? Something must be loose??

Well... that is why I pay extra money for InHome service...
I hope your notebook will be repaired and you wont have to wait too long!

I'd send it in anyway, because something seems to be wrong with the motherboard. Otherwise it wouldn't have refused to boot.

Go for the new notebook....Did you get documentation of your convo' with the Technician? :D

You must not have the on-site service warranty?

So now my M1330 is dead again! No amount of playing with it woke it up this time, so it looks like I'm getting another motherboard replacement :(
