Hello i just bought a xps1330 and I am not sure if i am missing some cds from dell. I have the microsoft word disk, roxio disk, a blue dell disk for reinstalling media direct, another blue disk for reinstalling dell webcam manager, and a black disk that says drivers and utilities already installed on your computer. For reinstalling dell xps m1330 computer software for windows vista home premium 64-bit. Should I have gotten an actual cd with vista on it for reinstallations? Any help is appreciated thanks.

Aside from the CDs you mentioned above you should have a blue disk for reinstalling Vista 32-bit Home Premium. Dell does not ship the 64-bit unless you call them up and you have to have a Business or ultimate 32-bit edition of Vista for them to ship you the 64-bit version for free.
So yes, you should have gotten a blue disc that says Reinstallation Disc for Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. -

mines brown... i guess depends on ur version of vista..

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Service Pack 1 Vista Discs are Brown while Non-SP1 discs are Blue.

It's brown.
But it's an Express Upgrade..probably different -
Yeah i didnt get any cd like that at all. dell trying to screw me as usual. Im on hold with them as i type this. So i have the xps m1330 in tuxedo also, any other things i may have been screwed on? i got the computer sleeve, earbuds, remote thing, and 5 total cds, im guessing you all had 6 cd including the operating system reinstall? oh btw, what do you use to clean the outside, the cover.. with tuxedo black, it attracts finger prints easily
