    dell xps 1530 temperature to high

    hi, i have a dell xps 1530, the os its xp, and i dont know, but the temperature i think its to high,

    processor 54 °C (129 °F)
    CPU Nº 1 / core Nº 1 55 °C (131 °F)
    CPU Nº 1 / core Nº 2 55 °C (131 °F)
    GPU 65 °C (149 °F)
    WDC WD1600BEVT-75ZCT2 36 °C (97 °F)

    and when i use the notebook on a table the temperature goes up
    is it normal this temperature?
    i think its to high

    looks about right, mine's at 44-54C for cpu and 65-73C for GPU on the balanced setting for vista.

    You can try to lift the bottom of the laptop to allow for more ventilation (if you have a 6-cell battery, that is).

    Those temperatures are normal and ok.
