    please tell me where we found TEAC DVD -+ DVW28SLC ATA firmware for this drive..
    i got so many problems with this it's not writing and reading any data..

    Try blowing out the inside of the DVD slot with compressed air. My DVD burner isn't worth crap, and always has an error whenever I try to write a CD/DVD, but then I blow it out with compressed air, and voila, it works again.

    If that doesn't work, then your DVD drive might be totally dead.
