It may sound like a stupid question - are you sure you're using the windows xp driver?

Assuming you have already downloaded the correct XP driver, (I used the ones supplied by Udi in another thread here) go to device manager and tell it to update driver but don't let it do it automatically. Direct it to the folder with the drivers and then let it update, should do the trick.

Those are the thing the device manager are sending, and the answer I get from the software...

From Dell I haven't download anything 'cause they have drivers only for Vista, but I have from Intel...

But, as I said, none of them worked for me

Please if someone could help me here =( ...

If you can not get it to work with xp, go on ebay and buy any dell wireless pci minicard, then you are home and dry. What I did eventually was to change mine to one meant for inspiron 6400, and it worked well. Changing the minicard is a 1-minute job - check the service manual from dell. As for warranty, just keep the original card and put it in if you have to send the laptop to dell for any warranty repair- this will save u any hassle

This driver worked for me. Its a Russian site. just type in the code and download it. I think those with a broadcaom wireless are the ones having problems getting xp driver.
