like i said. does ex. studio xps 16" support asynchronous dual channel ????
(with other words, will 1GB + 2GB runs in "dual channel" (asynchronous dual channel ))

    fact.
most newer chipsets support asynchronous dual channel and are similar to "ordinary"(synchronous) dual channel.
it doesn’t deliver the full performance that can be achieved in (synchronous)dual channel mode, it’s still faster than single channel though.
