If you have a dedicated graphics card, you don't have integrated. They are two completely different chipsets.

What Mastershroom said is not true. The 1340 has both integrated (GeForce 9400) and dedicated (Geforce 9200) graphics. You can use just the integrated to save power, or both together on Hybrid Sli for better performance (which appears as a 9500 card). So it's integrated or integrated+dedicated. You can also buy it with only the integrated graphics.

I never understood that... is the 9400 considered an integrated card or a discrete card? I always thought integrated chips were Intel chips, or is nVidia now integrating their video cards into motherboards now?

Oh sh!t, I forgot how to read. :p

I was thinking of the XPS M1330, not the SXPS 1340. Damn their similar series names and model numbers. >_<

Yep, the laptop is based on an nvidia motherboard (as opposed to an intel one) so alot of the drivers are nvidia based. If you open up the laptop with just the integrated graphics you should only have 2 heatsinks, 1 for the northbridge (graphics integrated here), and 1 for the CPU.. If you have the dedicated 9200 then you should have 3 heatsinks (1 more the the dedicated 9200).

i think you needed to upgrade the unit from the 9400m to the one that says 9500m GPU which is what they are calling the hybrid sli 9200m+9400m
it may not be to late to cancel your order and choose the upgraded GPU i think its a cheap upgrade also.
