What are your cable options? I've only ever seen male to male HDMI cables.

edit: Confirmed: the XPS has a female port, you need a cable with a male end (type a) (picture from XPS 16 review).

same here but when looking for the maximum cable length i found a site that mentioned the different types of connectors , i myself have only ever had to deal with one type , and it was the cable i got with my xbox360 elite , i used that cable with the ps3 too and when i had my pc rigged upto the tv i had a dvi to hdmi cable for that ,

i was just wanting to make sure its like the normal connector as knowing my luck i would go buy one and it would not fit :)

I edited my above post; there is a picture of the connector under the word 'Confirmed'.
