Hi guys, i have a dell l702x 1080p laptop, im trying to hook it up to my 46 inch tv via HMDI, i tred this last week with no problems and as soon as i plugged it in it cloned my laptop screen to my tv, it was perffect..

today i tried agian but to no avail, i couldent duplicate it to my tv. it was just extending it.

after further troubleshooting trying to get it to work i found that my laptop is being weird.. its showing 2 screen on my laptop. when i click identify screen 1 and 2 was both my laptop like this 1/2 and screen 3 being my tv.. 1 being mobile pc screen 2 being analog screen and 3 big tv. but 1 and 2 are the same thing, does anyone else have this problem?

hope you can understand what im trying to say
    thanks in advance

    Hi,

You may re-install the drivers and try to connect the TV again. Since the system has Optimus technology you will have to re-install both the drivers. After installing the drivers if the display still doesn’t get cloned you may open the NVidia control panel and set the display properties accordingly. Please find below the link for Dell Drivers download page, you may use the same to download and install the drivers.

I hope this helps, please do write back in case you need any further assistance.

    Thanks and Regards
