    Searched but couldn't find info...

I've got a 2-year-old m1330 refurb covered by complete care expiring in March. I just called Dell to extend the warranty and was told I can't extend complete care, only the limited warranty - this seems odd, can anyone comment?

Also was quoted $300 CDN for ship-to-depot and $355 CDN for onsite service... that seems awfully high. How can I drop the price or is there a coupon I can use?

lastly... has anyone with a computer registered for home use ever got a call just before warranty expiration asking if they'd like to extend? The CSR said they only call business users but that also seems odd.

I was wondering the same thing..

I got a 1yr warranty (no CC) on my original M1330, and they transfered it when they exchanged the M1330 for the XPS 16. I want to upgrade the warranty for 3 years with CC, but was qouted $400! I'd say $200-$300 would be reasonable.

Did they allow you to extend the warranty with CC (or add CC)? That'd be helpful if they did...!

Doesn't VISA or something let you extend your warranties by a year? I guess it only works if you bought with a credit card.
