    Hey!

Lately my fan is always on, and it is quite a lot on the maximum. The air coming out is really hot. I have a dell studio xps 16, but I did not overclock it. How can I help this?

    1. With power off, run a vacuum over your entire computer. Some people use canned air but I think that just moves dust from one spot to another.
    2. In Task Manager, look at what is running and taking CPUs. If you recently installed something, it might have installed incorrectly or conflicting with something. I had a Silverlight update that I suspect caused my 8300 run excessivly hot. A subsequent update appeared to have fixed it.
    3. Worse case, you can go out and buy one of those cooing pads for underneath the laptop.
