Not for certain but did you remove your quickset?

You need to have quickset installed, go to support.dell.com enter your service tag and download quickset under applications and it will work ;)

It seems on mine that FN + Esc works as the sleep button, but Fn+F1 doesn't work even though it has the little moon icon. I have quickset installed. I think historically FN+Esc is what usually controlls suspend/sleep on notebooks so it's kinda odd.

That's interesting. I actually prefer fn-esc, so if that works (I'll try it, if I remember, next time I want to use Standby) I'd like that, since the esc is leftmost, so it's a split-second easier to find when holding fn down.

fn-F1 causes my comp to hibernate instead of sleep.
Is there any way to change this setting?
