since ive owned both notebooks i whole heartidly say imho m1730>m17 the x9000 @ 3.4 outperforms the qx9300 @ 2.53 in everything but benchmarks. -
And what do you exactly hate about Vista? If you have actual compatibility problems with it and important programs that's fine, but I just don't like when people flame it when they either haven't used it at all or they only used it on January 30, 2007 (It has majorly improved since then). I have had no problems with Vista over the last 2 years.

and 64 bit ultimate and home premium its alright but i just find xp to be crissper i dunno i vista alright but i just wanna stick with xp -
Vista is just as easy as XP once you understand it. the same was with XP
