    Hello,

When i want to play a game without power supply ( adapter ) it will run the game, but VERY VERY VERY slow. My friends have normal laptops, the budget laptops that cost around $500, but they can play games without power supply. How can i fix that i also can play games without power supply on my Dell xps m1730?

    Greetz.

Hello and Welcome to the forums :)

I think the problem is from the power consumption tools that try to downclock the CPU and the GPU to preserve power. I think you can find the relevant options in the Power Options as well as the driver related tools.

Set your Power Options to High performance, besides that, you might want to check the PowerPlay settings in the Catalyst Control Center.

Try this: Right click the little battery icon on the right of your task bar and select 'Power Options'. Then select the 'High Performance' option.

When I unplug my m1530, it changes my power option to power saver, and downclocks my graphics card.
