    just see all these screenshots.. i cannot figure for the life of me what is running in the background on this computer. i don't even know if that white line is actually called global cpu load! (EDIT: it's temperature) someone please help me!

    problem is this: HEAT. normally this thing runs around 40 degrees centigrade at idle. but when this "magic white line" goes up, so does the temp. i've seen 105 degrees C on this laptop, and am fearful it's gonna fry before long.

    new edit: air coming from fan that is whurrin it's voltage off is COLD. i think this lappie doesn't like to sit in certain positions, or it makes the fan useless. see photo.

    There must be settings of that gadget where you can set what graphics should be shown. Check there. Try to uncheck box and you will understand what was that line showing.
    Download turboboost monitor from intel's site and you will see more info about CPU. Tjmax 105 means that it is maximum temperature for this CPU. Higher temps are very bad for it.
