    i have a 30 month old xps 1530 and the most of the screens developed a grey washed out look, some tool bar disappeared. This has happened before but a system restore has fixed it. This time all the system restore points have also gone. Any ideas? I also did a full system diagnostic and all hard wear is up to date

    Can you take a picture?

    Does it still work properly on an external display?

    I'd guess it's probably a dying GPU, but it might be a bad screen too.
