    hard drive bad sectors

    so i have had my m1530 about a month. i got the 5400 rpm 320gb hard drive. its western digital brand. i did a check with wd diagnostics and i have bad sectors on in. whats a good program to use to repair them?

    Bad sectors are generally a sign of a bad drive. Time to RMA it and transfer data before it dies.

    well i try to back it up, but i cant because of the bad sectors. its only a month old.

    Where did you get that WD Diagnostics program, could you please show me how to get it? I would also like to run that program to check mine.
