i bought a nikon camera with an hdmi output.. all excited right?
turns out it needs some special hdmi cable you cannot walk into walmart and buy.

is this true for my xps 15? i cannot look at the damn thing and tell.

anyone hooked this thing up hdmi? i saw some chatter about green lines, discovery mode and less-than-1080p resolution .. any input?

Cameras need a special cable, notebooks do not. Just hook up the HDMI output to your TV or whatever and it should be good to go.
