For some reason little particles keep getting stuck in the holes next to the speakers and I cannot seem to get them out. Anyone know how to do this?

lol... this is a 'very common' issue, if I may say that... :D :p

One common suggestion was to use compressed air, to blow them out...

But yeah.. there have been lots of other suggestions from using toothpicks to using hair dryer' in cool mode, from angle.. so that you dont push the particles deeper inside, but rather rather blow it away towards the side...

I tried.. some times it works, some times I had no idea what the particles were.. so just left it like that... it not too much though. IDK how bad its out there with your laptop..

There was also a suggestion to completely remove the speaker grill and clean it that way... but I haven't tried...

Well its not too bad yet but its getting worse little by little. Will try the compressed air (maybe the hair dryer...) though so thanks for the advice. Btw, how would I go about removing the grill?

Well, you can find it in the service manual (depending on what model you have, since I don't see anywhere in your post about the model)..

But at the moment, I wouldn't go that far, since most of the time for me the white particles just get blown away.. and whatever remaining, I just got used to it, since its not too many, not affecting my system performance or anything, and just simply not worth going about removing the whole grill thing and stuff, for this...

I would use compressed air but id have to go buy some lol. I guess it would be safer than taking my computer apart though so i will make the trip. The grill might be hard to put back on anyways (there is a wierd bump/warp under the right end of it).
