    Hi,

    I noticed under the battery a slot for what seems to be a sim card,whay is it? how can I check if I have WWAN built in(mabe a program that can detect it)?

    Open the square door on the underside of the laptop. If you have a WWAN card slot installed next to the WLAN card, you can use a sim to activate the feature..

    the sim card slot is only for one carrier in US. Sprint does not use it and either verizon or ATT use it. cant remember which one.

    ATT uses it i believe and so does T Mobile. Verizon i know doesnt.
