    how can i turn off external lights like power cable's blue light or 2 circle white lights on the left and right?

    Power cable's blue..hmm, that won't be a simple mod. I think you can purchase a different power adapter that doesn't have that little light.

    For the side hinges: I feel like someone once disconnected them. I think it's a simple cable disconnect. If you're willing to open it up.

    Software: not yet. They do have some interface with the operating system (pulsing yellow @ low battery; pulsing white @ sleep, etc.), but no one's found the "way-in" yet.

    The power cable light has nothing to do with the computer, no amount of software will get it to turn off. Just put some black paint or nail varnish or something like that over it and you should be all good.
