    No need for experiments :) Go with CM U3. Great cooling pad, 3 fans, adjustable positions, and adjustable rpm...

    I'm using the Coolermaster x2, and it works/fits/looks great! It's not the most portable solution, however.

    I did have to remove the black mesh filters from the inside of the vents on the bottom cover. They seemed to create turbulence that reduced airflow when air was blowing at them.

    Love my U2 it was like 20 bucks. Been using it since early Feb no issues.

    I use this cooling pad with my L502x and it works perfect. I had it lying around from my Studio 1557 which used to overheat. I mainly use it for sitting my laptop on a sofa or bed and when gaming.
