This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    laptop boot but no image but lcd does turn on but stays black
    if dvi is plugged in secondary screen then laptop screen turn on but i have green dot all around the dell logo, it will proceed to boot in safe mode with some green dot but in regular mode the screen will shut down as it log in window if i pull the dvi cord ouce it as booted the screen stay on, any idea?, no laptop is not under warranty anymore

    edit:tryed the vga port instead of the dvi and i can get the image to show like that
