I think this might be caused from Windows using a higher DPI, which is done by default on high resolution displays. You can change it back to 100% by typing 'DPI' in the start menu and selecting "Make text and other items larger or smaller". This will make things smaller when going to 100%, but they will be at their native resolution and shouldn't be blurry.

it's actually not 'blurriness', it's just pixelated due to the fact that you're using an upscaled resolution. up-scaling icons is not perfect in windows (just try doing it to random icons, tile view, large icon view, medium, etc.). if the designer didn't include 'larger' versions of the icon, then your OS has no choice but to up-scale the same image, and as long as it's not in whole-number intervals (like 2x, 3x, 4x...) then the pixel-rendering won't be perfect and have 'bad' edges. You are definitely on a higher DPI setting which leads to what you are seeing.

Just to be sure, you do have the resolution set to 1920x1080, don't you?

No, the facial regonition software can take a while because recognising a face is quite hard for a computer and so it takes time. You could always get a faster computer? :p
