    Greetings,
I have a Dell 1745 and just bought the L702x. I would like to transfer my solid state c drive from the 1745 to the new L702x so that I do not need to reinstall programs . I realize I need to install utilities and new drivers but is there a problem with this approach. and is there anything I should keep in mind????????? Thanks Curt

I just did the same, moved my SDD from my 1645 to the primary hard drive slot in my L502X machine and reinstalled. No issues so far.

You'll just need to change the drivers out. I'd suggest uninstalling the old drivers, then installing the ones for the 702x. Otherwise you ought to be fine.
