hi
i read a lot of guids here but... i dont understand
i want to completely remove win vIsta ... then format C: drive
then install XP from cd
how can i do that?
i have all of DEll XPS drivers on CD
(the black cd's in xps pack)
-
you have xp drivers? the studio line has no xp drivers, so its drawback (i dont have a studio, though)
-
what do u mean?
i have a black cd in my laptop package ... named : Drivers & utilites -
i mean the drivers maybe only for vista.. i dont know, but on the dell support driver page, the studio doesnt have xp drivers, i didnt check the m1530! even hp does this- none of their notebooks have proper xp support, and when they come with Freedos- people have to buy vista, so theres no point in selling freedos laptops
unless people pirate the xp/vista and somehow get xp to work!
-
oh and to the point- why dont you "downgrade" to xp? i think there is a way to do that!
-
i guess we should wait for other replies
