OK, SO over the past week or so, i have posted a few topics about my m1330 and problems i have ran into after replacing the intel motherboard with the nvidia. well, after scratching my head for hours i finally figured out what happened.

    here is the story
the first thing i did was buy a new cpu, upgraded to T9300. the day after i put that cpu in, the m1330 started instantly turning off after i turn it on.. then finally would never turn on. i thought i had shorted out the motherboard so i bought a new one off ebay (thought id upgrade and go for the nvidia with the copper mod) and a heatsink for the nvidia model. everything went smooth putting back together and fit perfectly. first boot worked great but then i noticed that the battery wasn't detected and they keyboard and trackpad were barely picking up any of my keystrokes/movements, they were both unusable. i thought i needed to drivers so i updated what i could find and updated bios to a15 (even though i was already at a15). so ive been pissed off the past 2 days because of the stupid keyboard, trackpad and battery not working (figured i broke those too). I got the strange urge to tear it back down and put it back together the way i recieved it...with the intel motherboard. THE DAMN THING WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!!!! when i put the T9300 cpu in, i didn't fully turn the screw in that holds the cpu into place, hence the boot fails.... so pretty much just wasted money on a HSF and nvidia motherboard...

I COME TO YOU WITH THIS LAST REQUEST!
since the nvidia board wasn't really playing nice with anything else in the laptop, i bet there was something i wasn't doing. like somehow resetting the motherboard or something, because it seems like to me that i should have had to do something after swapping boards to make sure everything was compaitble and working, thats what i need help with. i want to put the nvidia board back in (till it dies lol) because it was running my games so much better and ill keep the intel till it dies. after replacing the boards, what steps should i take so that those issues wouldn't occur again? i reinstalled windows thinking that would solve the problems but it didn't, any insight would be most helpful!!! sorry about this ridiculous long post, but i felt like i had to type everything, but it's so long i dont even want to reread it, hope it made sense!
