    Just got my 701 replaced with a 702 3d. maxed out specs, because of NUMEROUS problems with my 701. I just was wondering if anyone else has this experience? The specs for the new system are:

    Didn't have any issue so far with my L701x, but I am waiting to see what's gonna happen after a year of usage, never had a Dell before..

    You yourself know how good your specs are. The difference between Sandy Bridge and Clarksfield is indeed, HUGE. Btw, can you post the specs of your previous system so that we can provide you with further assistance?

    Yeah, I had a similar experience with my studio 1458 (specs in my sig), and after 9-10 replacements, I got the XPS 14 with i7.

    The difference? The difference between the clock speeds, performance per clock, turbo boost 2.0, and everything else make it a pioneer.
