i recently bought a laptop off a private owner it came with windows xp media edition, and i upgraded from there to vista home basic, and the laptop runs VERY well with it, however when i got the laptop it came with 1gb of ram and i upgraded to 4gb of ram and since i am using the 32bit OS, i am only accessing 3.25gb of the total 4gb of ram.
my question was do you guys think its worth the jump to vista ultimate, will i see a performance gain from the .75 of ram that ultimate will utilize that the 32bit isnt? also will my processor be utilized better from ultimate
my laptop specs are
m1210
t5600 centino
4gb ram
80gb hd
nvidia geforce go 7400
vista home basic
also would ultimate be even more of a resource hog than hom basic? i do think myself that really vista doesnt seen to bog my m1210 down at all, it runs really fast no hang ups or anything of the such, so i dont really know that vista is a huge resource hog, or it is and the m1210 just manages its resources very well?
could i see worse performance with ultimate?

why not just upgrade vista home basic 64 bit
vista ultmiated has more feature stuff and areo yes it be bit slower then
also you can not do in place upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit edtion
also vista ultmated has few add feature games stuff not in home prem or home basic
but home prem is come in 32 bit and 64 bit same key just use diffent media
m1210 upgrade from vista basic to vista ultimate?
