This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     m1330 + WiFi Link 5300

    Any idea if there's a way to get this working in Vista x64? The card is recognized and the drivers install (latest from Intel's site) but the device status stays on "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

    Funny thing is, it works great in Ubuntu 8.10 (just running the Live CD). Even the WiFi LED flashes on activity, something even the stock Dell 1395 Wireless card didn't do in Windows.

    So it leads me to think it's not really a hardware compatibility issue, but something more on the software side...

    sorry, I have no idea how to help you, just wanted to say I concur it is a software error. The card should be compatible.
