I am going to install vista 64 bit.

I seem to have 4 partitions, 2 hidden (one is like 128mb , other is like 2 gb.)

Then I have C: main partition, and the other 9.8gb recovery partition.

Can i delete them all and merge into one, then install vista ultimate? Do i need anything from these partitions.

Also If i am going to reinstall media direct 3.5 do I install that from the disk after I have installed vista 64bit, or do I format, and install media direct first, then vista 64bit??

    cheers

in ur Vista installation(the one where you choose ur partitiont 2 install vista into).... u can delete all the partitions there

but i think theres a 128MB partition thats partially hidden, which is the diagnostics partition... leave that alone

not sure about media direct, because i think its a crap piece of software.... but i think partition using media direct first before installing vista
