Guys, how do I check how many cells my battery has? Its either 4 or 6, since it doesn't have the external prop behind it.

What does your invoice say? Or how much time does it estimate when you are on battery power?

The thing is, I got it from a retailer. They order from dell and resell, so the receipt doesn't show what I get.

Is there any markings on the battery that can help me? I'm getting around 2hrs with everything on max, but the difference between 4cell and 6 cell isn't huge right? I don't think battery life is a reliable gauge.

Sounds like a 6 cell to me. You can remove the battery and read the mAH rating.
