m1330 common problem?

OK so I purchased a broken m1330 with hopes of fixing it (I own m1530 and had no problem with it) When I connect charger to it light on the charger gous off. Laptop shows no signs of life when I press power button. I took the entrire laptop apart and looked over motherboard and see no broken components. How can I fix this motherboard? there has to be a bad component that gous an those boards after all some people repair/refurbish them.

Also what motherboards would work on this laptop since I noticed there are several versions part numbers of them

Problems on this laptop and others of this type has been posted already.

 

I searched but I did't see a single post describing how to fix motherboard other than replacing it.

 

I got the same problem.. Just swapped my nvidia mobo to intel 1.. no more stress.. and gave it away to my sis.. lol

 

Did you buy it off ebay?

 

Yup, just get a 2nd hand mobo.. good enough to run another 3yrs??? I'm not sure tho..

 

BTW my friend got it fixed in China.. They just changed a chip.. how amazing these Chinese can do.. They even gave him back the broken chip and a piece of drawing of the mobo.. ofcoz at a very cheap price compare to me swapping with an intel board :/
