So, i got home from school, hit the power button... passes bios, then BSODs....
    ok...
    restart....
asks if i want safe mode or what ever, then freezes after 2 seconds...
    i try again.
then i see im not plugged in plug in try again
    it works...
i had a full battery though....

    why did this happen?

and i can't call dell to ask them and i cant get them to fix anything, as ther eis no service tag or warranty...
so whats wrong? please not the mobo :(

EDIT: ok, now my laptop just restarted randomly.......

Another thing you can do is run the laptop without the battery to see if it reboots. If not, then I would get a new battery.

Were you carrying the laptop previously? Sometimes things like this are just a fluke.
I'd start getting worried once it won't do anything BUT this, not when it does it once.
