I know there are similar threads; but I don't get the responses I was hoping for. I'd like to ask if its worth to get the m1530 if I'm not going to make use of its GC. I'll probably get the same GC as the m1330 if i order the m1530. The thing that bothers me would be the extra 2" of screen size. I'd like that but is it worth the extra weight for it. I'm not sure if i would need that much portability but its nice to have something light just in case. Would the 13" be an eyestrain if used for long periods?

As long as you don't crank the resolution up to something like 1440 x 900 it shouldn't be too bad. I mean I've been using 14" machines exclusively without problem until this summer... and 13.3" isn't a large downgrade in size.

Personally I value portability above anything else and the m1330 is perfect. The screen size isn't too small, and isn't hard to view for extended periods of time.

A 15" laptop is just too big for me.

Unless you are gaming you are giving up too much to go from M1330 to M1530... The CNET Asia review quoted only 1 hr 28mins of DVD playback time on the battery.. ie. not even a full DVD...

    No.

No. (Considering increased weight & size and decreased battery life)

If you are not gaming, M1330 is better than M1530.

    No.

just like everyone on this thread has said

if you are not using the GPU

by no means, i mean, by no means should u get or even consider 1530

hope that makes u more certain

one more thing, coming from a guy who has used 1280x800 on a sony 13" for 2yrs

trust me, there is no resolution more perfect for a 13"
