yo,
a few months ago the left mouse button of my xps m1330 collapsed and fell out of the palmrest. i still have all the pieces - could anybody tell me how to put it back together?

Depends how it managed to fall out. If it is broke then you are probably better off getting a replacement palm rest. Cost is about £20 so not too bad.

You can download the service manual from Dell website that will provide detailed instructions on how to replace. I don't think it matters if you currently have the fingerprint scanner or not as the motherboards are the same so if you don't currently have a fingerprint reader you will gain that too !! -
It doesn't look like anything is actually broken. Is there any way to put it back in?
